It’s time to set up your first IU account. It takes 24 hours for it to activate. If you’re wondering whether you already have an account, look up your university ID. You have a choice to live on or off the IU Indianapolis campus. Campus housing is in high demand. New, first-time IU Indianapolis freshmen can pay a $200 fee to reserve a spot as soon as possible after admission. Housing assignments are made in July.

Submit your CrimsonCard photo
Your CrimsonCard is your official photo ID card and gives you secure entry to buildings, printing services, university libraries, dining areas, and sports and recreation facilities. It is also accepted as payment at many local retailers.

Reserve orientation
Orientation is a personalized introduction to the IU Indianapolis campus and your educational journey. You’ll meet with your advisor, register for classes, and more. Reserve your spot as early as possible to ensure the most selection of orientation dates and classes. Orientation reservations begin in February for summer and fall admission and in October for spring admission.
